Compliance Program Overview
CHHUNY is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and full compliance with all federal and state laws. As such, CHHUNY has established a comprehensive Compliance Program that operates in accordance with NYS Social Services Law § 363-d and 18 NYCRR Part 521. The program is designed to ensure the integrity of our services and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
Our Commitment
Our program is overseen by a Designated Compliance Officer and a Compliance Committee. The program is built on education, monitoring and auditing, enforcement of fair and firm disciplianry standards to encourage good faith participation in the compliance program, maintaining open lines of commuincation for reporting concerns, and responding to concerns through swift investigation and self-disclosure of any identified overpayments.
Report a Concern
We maintain open and confidential lines of communication. Anyone can report suspected non-compliance or seek guidance without fear of retaliation or intimidation. CHHUNY strictly prohibits intimidation or retaliation against any individual, who, in good faith, participates in the compliance program, reports a potential issue, or assists in an investigation.
